VP Hotel&Art Awards
VP Hotels is committed to promoting emerging artists with €32,000 in prizes.
We present our first edition of the VP Hotel&Art Awards competition to promote emerging artists. Under the theme “Dialogue between Nature and Man through Art”, its objective is to encourage artistic creation that explores the intrinsic relationship between human beings and their natural environment.
Artists will be able to submit their proposal starting from June 4th until September 4th, and between the months of October and November, the artwork of the finalists will be exhibited in an exhibition room of VP Hotels, where the winners will finally be announced in February 2025. The three winning works will become part of the VP Private Art Collection and will be permanently exhibited in the chain’s hotels.
The VP Hotel&Arts Awards prize is endowed with €32,000, divided into three prizes and two honorable mentions per category, reflecting VP Hoteles’ involvement in this project. In addition, the winners of each category will be able to hold a collective exhibition of their works, curated by Óscar García García, independent curator and director of the contemporary art fairs JUSTMAD and JUSTLX.
To participate you just have to have been born or reside in Spain and be over 18 years old. You can choose from one of the three categories (painting, sculpture, and photography) while maintaining the theme of “Dialogue of Humanity with Nature through Art”.
