In 1475 the work began above a small chapel and nowadays is one of the best preserved castles throughout the Community of Madrid. It is a quadrangular building with four circular towers and is built entirely of granite. Inside you will find a rectangular arcaded courtyard with two galleries. The first floor, in Gothic style, is considered the most beautiful of military architecture in Spain.
The castle has been declared Historic-Artistic Monument in 1931 and currently contains a collection of tapestries and a museum about Spanish castles.
Do not miss a trip to the Middle Ages. Our hotel VP Jardín de Tres Cantos is located just 27 km from this medieval monument.
