Weekends in the Spanish capital start on Thursdays. This day is perfect for enjoying classic Madrid nightlife for all types and ages; the most popular areas on Thursday are usually "La Latina" and the area in the "centre" (around Plaza Mayor and the Puerta del Sol). Here you’ll find an infinite amount of pubs, “tapas” bars and restaurants.

For a more laid-back and selective plan, we recommend the Salamanca and Paseo de la Castellana districts where you can find three of our hotels: VP El Madroño, VP Jardín de Recoletos and VP Jardín Metropolitano , and where you can enjoy an infinite number of pubs and nightclubs with good music and an exclusive atmosphere.

For more casual plans we recommend a Madrid classic: Malasaña, with decades of music and fun as its draw. Bars where rock and roll and indie music take centre stage, where you can run into 20-somethings or 50-somethings in a true blend of urban styles and groups.

To finish up, you can’t miss visiting Madrid’s “El Rastro” market on Sundays to make the last purchases of the weekend, and you can end with a tapas meal in the lively “La Latina” district.
